My name is Miyuki, otherwise known as the White Wolf. I am a 7-year old Maremma (Italian Sheepdog), living in Australia with a mischievous black cat, five chooks, and my humans.
We live in a beautiful part of the world, surrounded by pristine beaches, sand dunes, rocky headlands and native bush. All inspiring environments for long walks in nature, a favourite activity of mine! I am a grand old dame, with much wisdom to share on all things canine and earthy.
The little black cat I share my den with is known as Monique, and she will be posting here from time to time on all things feline.
One of our humans, Dr Renee, will also post here. She is our guardian and provider of all things fun, and also happens to be a Holistic Veterinarian. Which means she is passionate about keeping our (and her humans') diets full of fresh, raw, natural ingredients, keeping our skin, fur, bodies and household free of chemicals, and spending lots of time outside in nature, connecting with the Earth's energy and elements. She has started an online holistic veterinary business "Roar Kingdom", offering natural nutritional consults for cats and dogs, as well as other holistic vet services and a range of unique, eco-friendly pet products.
Renee is also passionate about living a simple, sustainable family life, preserving our precious planet and all things green. So she will post here on topics related to holistic pet health as well as our family's adventures in green living.
We hope you will join us in our adventures.
